Start with where your image will appear, then choose the canvas that gives your content enough room.
SnapPolish offers three canvas shapes. They are useful design presets, not a guarantee that every social platform or placement accepts every export. Check the destination’s upload preview before posting.

The image fits; it does not stretch
The editor scales the source proportionally to fit within the available space. A wide image on a portrait canvas will leave more background above and below it. If the content looks too small, choose landscape or reduce padding. It will not automatically crop the image to fill the canvas.
Which export multiplier should you choose?
- 1×: Use this first. It produces the dimensions shown in the table.
- 2×: Doubles both dimensions, which creates four times as many pixels.
- 4×: Multiplies both dimensions by four. A square export becomes 4320 × 4320. Wide and portrait 4× exports exceed the editor’s 22-million-pixel limit and are blocked.
Larger files use more memory and storage. This is resizing rather than AI detail reconstruction: a blurry source will not gain genuine detail just because the output is larger.
A reliable mobile workflow
- Choose the canvas shape and check that small text remains readable.
- Start at 1× and export.
- If your browser offers a share sheet, choose the save or sharing destination you want.
- If the export is too large or fails on your device, return to 1× and try again.
Use padding and backgrounds to frame the content, then refine its corner radius.
