Privacy and your images

Your editing files stay in your browser. Visiting the website still involves hosting and analytics services.

Images and caption text

The editor reads the image you select on your device and draws it on a browser canvas. Its editing code does not upload image files to a server. Caption suggestions use templates in the browser; the editor does not send your caption prompt to an AI service.

Closing or refreshing the page clears the editor’s current working state. Files you download remain wherever your device saves downloads. If you choose a destination in your device’s share sheet, that destination handles the image under its own practices.

Google Analytics

The site includes Google Analytics, measurement ID G-YV9TLJ3KL4, to understand website usage. Google Analytics may use cookies and collect page interactions, device and browser information, referral information and approximate location. The editor does not deliberately include your selected image, its filename or your caption text in custom analytics events.

Analytics data collection and retention also depend on settings in the site’s Google Analytics account. No specific retention period is promised on this page. See Google’s Privacy Policy and Google Analytics data information.

Hosting and connection information

Vercel hosts this website. Website requests necessarily pass connection and request information, which may include an IP address, requested URL and browser details, to the hosting provider. Local image editing does not mean that browsing the website is anonymous. See Vercel’s Privacy Policy.

Your choices

You can use your browser’s cookie and tracking controls. Google also provides a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on for supported browsers. Blocking analytics does not prevent the local image editor from working. Avoid entering sensitive information into URLs or sharing files with services you do not intend to use.

Accounts and payments

The current editor has no account registration or checkout form. It does not ask for a password or payment-card information.
