Round image corners for a cleaner frame

Use a subtle curve to soften an image’s edges, or keep them square when the design calls for it.

The corner-radius control changes how your image is clipped within its frame. It does not alter your original file. A shadow behind the frame separates it from the gradient background.

How to adjust the corners

  1. Upload an image and choose a canvas shape.
  2. Set padding first so you can see the image’s outer edges.
  3. Move the Corner radius slider from 0 toward 55. Zero gives square corners; larger values produce a stronger curve.
  4. Try the default value of 22, then check whether the curve hides any useful content near a corner.
  5. Export PNG when the preview looks right.

Radius follows the canvas scale

The slider is a design setting, not a promise that every output has the same radius in pixels. The editor scales the radius with canvas width and limits it so it fits within the image’s dimensions. Enlarging the final export also enlarges the complete composition.

Padding and shadow work together

Padding gives the shadow room to show. With very little padding, an image can feel crowded even if its corners are rounded. Start at 15%, then make small adjustments while watching the preview.

Check content near the corners

A rounded clipping boundary can hide text or a logo positioned at the extreme corners of the original. Use a smaller radius or prepare an image with more internal margin if that happens. A preview check is especially useful for tall images or images containing interface labels.

Export limitations

The result is a PNG containing your image, the gradient canvas and the shadow. This editor does not export a separate transparent rounded cutout. The original file on your device remains unchanged.
